Valley Regional Hospital Foundation popped over to the Renal Dialysis Clinic to see the newest addition to support patient health, funded with support by community donations — the Kidney Kupboard.

Due to the significant financial burden of kidney disease, many dialysis patients experience food insecurity and face difficulty affording basic necessities. The Kidney Kupboard is stocked with help from the Renal Allied Health team that includes a dietician, pharmacist, and social worker.

Patients are welcomed to take what they need to support their care. Thank you, Annapolis Valley, for your continued support to enhance healthcare for your community!
